Stay Wavy

Hyannis, Chatham,Provincetown, & Martha’s Vineyard are the most magical places I’ve visited on the East Coast, no questions.

I learned so much about myself & a small wonder in this big world.

The Ambitious Girl.

I studied PR and Spanish at Hampton University and love to find new ways to use the skills I learned while earning my degree.

On March 22nd, I worked An Afternoon of Musical Inspiration, hosted by the National Federation of the Blind Maryland. My role on the planning committee included designing the ticket and advertisement for the event. The best part was putting together the gift bags. We had a great pastel color theme, perfect for spring!

It’s always fun to strengthen my skills and see how much I need to grow.

Whatever you do, be willing to grow.

Here are some pics from the day and a peek at the other pieces from my three piece suit that I featured in the last post ✌️

Try and Volunteer somewhere this week! 🌍💌

One of them, “I like art”type girls.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Walters Art Museum with my mother & cousin last week.

As a graduate of the Scripps Howard School of Journalism & Communications, The Pen to Press exhibit was a must see!

Johannes Gutenberg of Germany, started it all with the printing press and the first print of the bible.

Also as a Christian, it was amazing to see the mechanism that allowed future generations to read the gospel.

On top of that, the Walters Art Museum is one of Baltimore’s greatest treasures. It has the perk of free admission, captivating exhibits as well as an unique intersection of culture and community outreach.

If you’re ever in Baltimore, check out their website and their new extended hours on Thursday nights!

Nigerian-Cuban twins,Naomi & Lisa-Kainde Diaz, serenaded the District of Columbia for the first time ever! They travelled from Paris, France to put on a mesmerizing performance filled with instruments like the, batas and cajón, native of Cuba. Their voices flow like honey and their beauty is undeniably intoxicating.

The duo is currently on tour for their first album!

Buckle Up

Last week, my twirl, aka, one of oldest friends was in Baltimore! Although the occasion was somber, we were able to catch up, laugh a whole lot, & even begin working on a new project together (stay tuned)!

I wore a tailored & thrifted Emanuel Ungaro dress with Steve Madden Riding Boots. Emanuel Ungaro is an iconic designer and I was thrilled to thrift this gem at Repeat Performance in Pikesville,MD. I’ll be sure to add the full outfit soon!

XOXO
