The average person doesn’t know this, or maybe they don’t care, but most of what is recycled in our curbside bins and stand-alone recycling centers doesn’t actually make it into recycled product. A great enigma: what’s the point of recycling if what we DO recycle doesn’t end up where we imagine it would? Enter “Plastic Free” by Beth Terry. This book is amazing! And it realistically teaches the everyday person how they can help this depressing enigma by getting rid of or reducing their plastic consumption. 

So the plan is to document what I’ve learned and how I’ve made changes throughout my life to really LIVE “Plastic Free”, or as close as I can get.
