The cloudy morning promised something far from glamour but as I zipped up my Love Moschino blazer, I was on my way to the most glamorous exhibitions of all – The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014. Surrounded by fashionistas, designer-wannabes, art and fashion academics and all the more experts on luxury brands, I almost feel like the most socially- disorientated person on the face of this planet. After all, to possess a piece of garment of this value, you should certainly learn to appreciate it first; so was the purpose of my trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum for it was the host to the world leader in style and taste.
